Quilting ByThe Lake

July 21 - July 25
Quilting by the Lake in Morrisville, NY. It was a great class. I unfortunately was sick the first 3 days with some stomach virus. I was rooming with Elin Nobel and Emily Richardson and they took very good care of me. Bob was rooming with Bill Kerr. At least the dorms were air conditioned. By Tuesday I was back to normal (as normal as I can get) and I took some pictures around the campus. The pictures I am including are from the class that is now called "Color, Texture, Line and Shape through Free-Motion Sewing." It's a great class for loosening up your approach to stitching. I think they all enjoyed the class and learned a lot from it.

Later this week I will post some pictures from the workshop Bob did for Committed to Cloth in England. I am still suffering from jet lag. We got home at 11:oo PM last night. I am a little off today. The pictures from QBL are not in the positions I wanted them in but I don't have the energy to figure out how to move them around.
